APPLIED KINESIOLOGY - Anne Winning

Anne is passionate about animal welfare.  She has a qualification in animal behaviour and has studied applied kinesiology, animal communication and various healing modalities including Reiki and Theta Healing.

Anne uses a combination of applied kinesiology, communication and energy healing to help your animal though difficult times, including grief and anxiety.

“I always loved animals and wanted to be a vet, but couldn’t stomach the blood! I am now realizing my desire to help animals through using my intuitive communication gift and my gift for healing.  I combine the applied kinesiology technique of muscle–testing with animal communication, and then use energy healing to improve the well-being of the animal.

My applied kinesiology work uses the muscle-testing technique to determine whether the entry point for healing an issue is in the physical realm, the chemical realm, the emotional realm or in the spiritual (energetic) realm.  This approach is particularly good to determine allergic reactions.

My process determines where to start on a particular issue, and then proceeds to determine more specifics related to it such as what body system is affected; whether the environment is involved in the complaint; whether there is an emotional component etc. I also use the muscle-testing technique to test the best way to heal the issue.

For emotional issues, I connect with animals through my sixth sense and ask them to discuss their issues and whether they have any messages for their human partners. The information comes as images, words and/or feelings.  The animal consultation can be with the animal present or it can be done at a distance, preferably with a photograph.  Depending on the nature of the issue, I also do energy work, which I have found to be a powerful way to help clear emotional issues and address physical issues. The emotional work can also be done at a distance.

Most of my work has been with domestic dogs, cats and horses, but I have communicated on behalf of a camel and have helped a few birds including a couple of wild birds that seemed to come into my path."

  1. Helping diagnose skin issues

Posted by Rochelle Trimnell-Ritchard on 15th May 2012

Our cat was a rescue pet whom we had the pleasure of bringing into our family just under five years ago.

Through out the last five years our cat has suffered off and on (more on than off) with chronically itchy skin. She picks at it for hours, pulling off huge tufts of fur, creating infected scabs which require antibiotics.

Recently she has also taken to soiling her own bed.

Anne diagnosed anxiety and depression, bought on by feelings of low self-worth and mistreatment from her first human family.

Our cat is now taking a blend of bach flowers, has a pretty new collar, gets a lot more brushing and attention, and we've adjusted her diet to include her favourite foods.

It has only been a few days but we've seen a reduction in picking and itching, and Lilo's demeanour is more relaxed. We look forward to continued improvement now we know that we are dealing with an emotional issue, not a physical one.

  2. Helping an Elderly Cat

Posted by Mrs Janssen from Wollongong on 2nd May 2012

Our elderly male cat had developed breathing and eating difficulties over a period of time. Several visits to the local vet temporarily gave relief but this didn't last. We had been recommended to use cat food purchased from Greenpet and through the web site I found Dr Anne Winning. Anne told me several things about our cat that we hadn't realised and gave me suggestions on how to improve his eating and breathing. I found her emails a delight to read as we sent photos of our cat and she was able to connect with him on a personal level. We were told about natural remedies which was a welcomed change from antibiotics. His appetite has improved and he seems more alert. What I liked was the way Anne included my cat in on the discussion about how to help him. You often wonder what your pets are thinking when they are not well and can only guess but Anne made it possible for us to understand how he was feeling and to take action to help him.
