Calm Healthy Horses Starter Pack may assist horses who suffer unnecessarily with health and behavioural issues because of imbalances in their diet.
Could it be the Grass?
Most people only think about what they hand feed their horses rather than what grass they are eating and this is just as important to their health. Not all grass is good for horses.
The Calm Healthy Horses Starter Pack contains natural supplements and information specially recommended by our animal naturopath aimed at supporting horses that are displaying signs of being grass affected.
The pack contains the following natural supplements & items:
- Supreme Australian Horse & Vitamin & Mineral – 2kg
- SOS – 2kg
- GrazeEzy – 2kg
- Luvin Life pH Strips
- Includes dietary information and instructions for use
How long will the pack last me?
This will depend on the size of your horse to the dosage given.
15gms per 100kgs Body-Weight (eg: 75gms (1.5 scoops) for a 500 kg horse
To replenish a deficient or less than healthy horse: 20gs per 100kgs body weight.
For fussy horses start with a fraction of the dose.
75g/per day gives about 27 days 2kg
SOS: 1 Measuring Cup = 50gms
Start with 10gms per 100kgs live-weight am & pm.
There is no set amount, adjust according to weight and need. Sometimes it is necessary to feed up to 2 full scoops am and pm for Grass Affected and/or large horses.
20-40 days per 2kg
SOS can be added to damp feed or dissolved in water and syringed orally.
GrazeEzy: GrazeEzy may be added to feed at the rate of 10g per feed, increasing the dose every 3 days by 5g up to recommended dose of 10g per 100kg bodyweight daily.
Keep an eye on your horse’s manure. If you see it soften then just revert to the previous dose level. Organic chromium assists with metabolizing the sugars in the grass.
We recommend purchasing the pack initially and once you start using the supplements you will get an idea how long each item will last, then you may re-order replacements in larger sizes if required.
